Metro Parent Relief offers a program for corporations to purchase a portion of emergency back up care for employees. The company purchases a membership with Metro Parent Relief which will cover half (or more – it is up to each corporation how much to share the costs) of the hourly fee for the designated number of hours of the particular membership the company has in place. The employee will pay the other half of the hourly fee, plus one additional dollar for any other children in the home. The hourly fee charged to a company and employee with a membership is a reduced rate.
By sharing the care, it makes the program affordable. When an employee needs back up childcare (i.e., if a nanny is sick, or a child cannot go to daycare, etc.) he or she can contact Metro Parent Relief to provide a referral of a nanny or babysitter to care for the time period needed. The nanny, or baby sitter, will travel to the employee’s home to care for the children. The care is good for one year from the date of purchase.

If you would prefer to just refer employees to Metro Parent Relief, we welcome that as well! As we are appreciative of all referrals, we are pleased to offer a small discount to your employees, off of the standard rate.
